What you can do with the Microsoft To Do integration
When you connect Microsoft To Do to FlowSavvy, FlowSavvy schedules time for your tasks and reschedules them if plans change or you get behind.
You choose which lists sync. Those lists stay in sync between Microsoft To Do and FlowSavvy. Adding, editing, deleting, and completing tasks syncs both ways, along with the title, notes, due date, repeat rule, and which list a task is in.
How to connect Microsoft To Do to FlowSavvy
Click your profile in the top left corner of the menu in FlowSavvy.
Click settings.
Go to the "Integrations" tab.
Click on Microsoft To Do, then click "Connect Microsoft To Do" and sign in with Microsoft.
Important: Select which lists you want to sync to FlowSavvy. None are selected by default.
Disconnecting Microsoft To Do removes its lists and tasks from FlowSavvy and from any calendars those tasks were synced to.
Things to know
Which tasks get synced to FlowSavvy
Tasks in the lists you select are synced. Subtasks are not synced.
Microsoft To Do does not tell FlowSavvy who a task is assigned to. Tasks assigned to other people in a shared list still sync into FlowSavvy.
Tasks that are already completed when you first sync a list are not imported. Completing or uncompleting a task after that syncs both ways.
Due date and repeat rule
Microsoft To Do sends a due date, and a repeat rule when the task repeats. However, the due date and repeat rule on tasks from Microsoft To Do can unfortunately not be changed in FlowSavvy due to a bug in Microsoft To Do where changes to those properties cause the task to be duplicated. To change the due date or repeat rule of a task from Microsoft To Do, change them in Microsoft To Do.
Moving tasks between lists
Moving a task to another list removes it from the old list and creates it again in the new one. Microsoft To Do properties that FlowSavvy does not sync, such as attachments and who the task is assigned to, are not copied onto the new task.
If you move a task in Microsoft To Do to a list you are not syncing, FlowSavvy removes it. If you move a task in FlowSavvy to a list that is not a synced Microsoft To Do list, FlowSavvy removes it from Microsoft To Do and keeps it in FlowSavvy.
List title and color
The title of a Microsoft To Do list cannot be edited in FlowSavvy. Rename the list in Microsoft To Do, and the new title syncs to FlowSavvy.
Microsoft To Do lists do not have a color. FlowSavvy assigns one when you select the list, and you can change that color in FlowSavvy. You can also choose the list's scheduling hours and which calendar it syncs to.
