Custom Color-Coding

Customize the colors of your events and tasks

Updated over a week ago

How are events/tasks color coded by default?

By default, events are colored according to the calendar they are in, and tasks are automatically color-coded by how close they are scheduled to their due dates. The left border of tasks shows the color of the calendar that the task is in.

How do I change the color of an entire calendar?

  1. In the FlowSavvy menu, click Settings > Calendars

  2. Click the calendar you want to change

  3. Choose a color from the color dropdown, then click Save

Remember: The calendar color applies to the whole body of events but only shows up on the left border of tasks. If you want to change the color of the entire task, use the instructions below ๐Ÿ‘‡

How do I change the color of just one event or task?

  1. Click on the event or task you want to edit

  2. Click the "color" field

  3. Choose a color, then save the task/event

Note: Setting a custom color on a task overrides the automatic color-coding, so you won't be able to see if a task is scheduled close to its due date at a glance
