Why are tasks scheduled right after each other instead of spread out throughout the day?

FlowSavvy schedules tasks as early as possible (within the constraints you've given it). While FlowSavvy does balance your workload over multiple days if you've selected the "Balanced" workload option in settings, FlowSavvy does not spread out tasks during the day.

In most cases, spreading out tasks evenly or randomly throughout the day would do some really weird and unexpected things, like putting one task at 8am and then another at 2pm for seemingly no reason at all. Scheduling them all as early as possible is much more predictable and keeps FlowSavvy easy to use. We've also found that most people prefer to have tasks grouped together so they can have larger, uninterrupted blocks of free time.

Of course, however, you might not want to do all your tasks back-to-back and would prefer to have some time between tasks. We recommend accounting for breaks/travel time when setting the task duration. If that still doesn't work for your use case, please submit a feature request using the in-app help center so we can learn more about your situation!
